Commentary

Until you enter into a covenant, the Laws, Directions, Plans, and Instructions of the thing being agreed upon are not valid. Mainstream Christian Ministers are persuading people every Sunday to enter into a covenant relationship with God without explaining the consequences of breaking that covenant.  Saying the “Sinner’s Prayer” and being a good person does not mean you are in covenant with YHWH.  The covenant He gave is for us to be called “His people.”  If we want to be YHWH’s people, we have to agree to the terms of His covenant which He gives us in the Torah.  The sad reality is that many people who have entered into YHWH’s covenant have NO idea what they are obligated to do as their part of the covenant.  Because of this fact, it is our belief and opinion that these people, the one’s who truly thought they were doing exactly what they were supposed to do, will be the one’s Y’shua is speaking of here…21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. 22 On that Day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord! Didn’t we prophesy in your name? Didn’t we expel demons in your name? Didn’t we perform many miracles in your name?’ 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, ‘I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!’  Matthew 7:21-23
